CWA Local 3201

NEWS LINE

June 2nd, 2010

Brothers and Sisters:

All the contracts are now behind us with the settlement of the Mobility Contract. If there is any good news to talk about in the local it has to be the change in turf managers in Americus and Cordele. Gone is Perry who was the very lowest form of the human race who enjoyed riding the backs of our members through threats and intimidation. In my 30 years as an officer in local 3201 I have never had dealings  with a lower form of the human race. If you want to know why upper management puts up with him one thing NUMBERS. It can surely be said Will Rogers never met Perry.

Surplus numbers will be out June 15. I feel that our area will be hit but just don't know how hard but the surplus of one is to many. The surplus list will be posted on the locals web site as soon as it is received. The local was notified today that week day stand-by is being ended on June 21, the company will only do weekend stand-by. All I can say is good luck AT&T. We keep hearing from the members that this is not the company it use to be, that is right but it never will as long it is being ran by the corporate crooks who are in charge.

Please work safe and remember big brother is always watching.

Stay Strong:

Roger Todd
